Carvin USA V115 15 Inch Bass Cabinet: serial# 150154. Carvin has always made some of the best bang for the buck music equipment here in the US. The V115 is a HD bass cabinet that can handle 500 watts@ 8 ohms. Ours has both high and low Z inputs. It shows light wear but has never been abused and sounds great. Weighs almost 80 pounds. The BR series cabinets incorporate very efficient Low Frequency drivers delivering accurate tone with high output. Expect a deep resonate bass from these systems along with a tight, punchy, slap & pop high-end. Extended mid range also makes your bass sound alive.
The only thing is that Carvin lists frequency response as 28 Hz to 22k Hz - certainly exaggerated, but they DO say it will handle a low B, while Avatar has NO specs and only says they 'sell tons of them, they get great reviews and most everyone likes them' (not very helpful). 'Awesome cabinet...handles my low 'B' without even thinking about it. Used it as my on-stage monitor at an outdoor festival, and was happier than any of the other bass players using their full rigs. Can't wait to put my 15 cabinet under it!'

'Excellent cab. Pure punch and clarity, no rattles. Great gradual tweeter attenuation control. I had an Eden 210XLT before this. This one is a keeper.'

'Carvin Rocks! The BR210 and PS-15 combo is the best. I was running EDEN 210s and a AMPEG 15 through my Carvin BX500 Amp and the difference in the speaker change made the rig just perfect. Clear, powerful tone at any volume. This is the perfect combo! I've been using Carvin products since 1997 and I've NEVER been disappointing. '

The MB210 Micro Bass is one astonishing micro bass amp that really delivers the punch and tone for bass guitar. You'll be surprised at how much volume and deep tone this dual 10-inch system delivers. The MB210 produces 250w of clean RMS power, capable of out-performing anything in its class. The Neodymium titanium tweeter adds to the upper harmonics to enhance the overall sound. The micro size is only 12.75' wide x 11.5' deep x 24.5' high and is a lightweight 36 lbs. Any professional will be delighted with the MB210's light weight, power and tone.
Micro Bass Features
The internal BX head delivers 250w RMS at 4 ohms (with 8 ohms extension speaker) and 200w RMS into each of the 8 ohm Micro Bass models. The Class D power amp is 94% efficient delivering not only its full RMS but doing it very efficiently taking less AC power from the wall. Typical THD is less than .1% for ultra low distortion keeping your bass clean and the tone pure in every respect. See the BX250 for more details. The BX pre-amp is the state-of the-art with a Drive knob to control the harmonic content (clean to clipping) and dual Parametric EQ to select all the sweet tones of your bass. The Contour, Bass and Treble controls deliver deep bass and brilliant highs. Includes Active and Mute switches. The pre amp Direct Out XLR is pre or post selectable for the house PA or recording and includes a ground lift and Level control. The Master level controls the speakers while the DI level controls the pre-amp output including the Phone/Tuner. The tweeter features a DIM switch to control the brightness of your sound. The cabinet design allows you to position the MB210 either vertically or horizontally. Poplar plywood enclosure is covered with black vinyl.

'Certainly well worth the price. Already used for recording and a low volume live show with drums. Bandmates were amazed at the sound of that little amp.'

'I visited Carvin 40 years ago at age 15 to purchase my first new guitar amplifier. Our family planned a vacation to San Diego around the visit to the factory for me to spend my hard earned paper route money. In the decades afterward I have purchased several amps, sound system components, a guitar and a bass. I have always trusted your products to perform and sound great. My latest purchase of the MB210 will be a solid investment into my life as a minstrel. Another solid product from my 'go-to' musical instrument company.'

'I've played bass for almost 25 years and owned many, many combo amps and the MB210 looks like it may be my favorite one ever. With the parametric EQ section I was able to precisely dial in the bass tone I've been searching for within minutes. I really like the contour knob, it's the icing on the cake for the amp's tone shaping ability. An American made, 200 watt bass combo that sounds great and is built very well. This was a very sound decision, Thank you Carvin!'

'I own two Carvins but I've been skeptical about Carvin amps because they cost so little. I figured they couldn't be very good but I finally ordered an MB210. The construction is flawless and the custom python covering is sweet. Received it on a Tuesday, played at living room volume a couple of times to get a feel for it but intentionally didn't do a deep dive into the features or tone tweaking because I wanted to see how hard it would be to get a great tone at a gig that Friday going in cold. It was super easy to find a sweet spot with minimal tweaks. The DI is dead silent, unlike my GK which crackled and popped without notice. The compressor is very usable and a beginner could set the tone controls to get a good tone out of it. At a large venue with high ceilings all I needed was the master at 3 for a good stage volume in a loud band. The tone is clear, clean and loud with great sustain and definition. It was articulate and I think it made it easier for me to play. I can lift it into into the trunk with one hand and the look of the amp is head turning. This amp has made a believer out of me and I'm more inclined to consider their PA and other electronic gear now.'

'What a compact workhorse! Purchased this amp/combo Feb. 2012 and put it to work right out of the box. I play in a church (18-20 piece) praise band/orchestra in a 600 seat auditorium. Running direct to the house the sound tech was very impressed with what he heard. The punch and presence fill the stage. I have used it quite a bit with an extension 2x10 and the result is nothing less than a monster. The horn section on the other side of the stage even smile. For smaller gigs, (coffee shops, etc.) this combo is perfect. Easy to tweak to fit room acoustics and so easy to transport. Bass in one hand, combo 210 in the other. The amp is super quite and features are well thought out. This is my first Carvin purchase in over thirty years of playing but I keep looking at their catalog and website trying to decide what my next investment will be.'

'Awsome right out of the box! I took the amp to a live radio gig for its maiden voyage and she performed flawlessly, great tone with my P bass, no EQ needed for a sound that cut through the mix! Great job, Carvin!'
